I have absolutely NO idea what that means. You note I have one hefty book in my "library" on computers and SPARC architecture and programming. That's just because the author is a member of my family. I didn't understand much of it. (not that I'd let on, would ruin my edge in the next dominoes match)
Just means I moved all the stored Data I have, from one device to another. The new device is connected directly to my computer, where as my old device was attached to the network, and then to my computer. So basically I shortened the connection up to make things a bit faster.
